Welcome to 2005, the year and my track. 2005 is a mellow yet with some intense
undercurrents, just like the year has been for me so far.
I hope you enjoy it just as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
White Echoes is to celebrate and commemorate the hot summer of 2003.
I enjoyed this summer very much and therefore put this little dance
track together. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Carpetry is my attempt to create an IDM track. It consists of a
carpet of sounds with slight variations. The main inspiration of
this track was the redecorating project of our flat.
Sounds funny, but it's true.
Tribute...well, it's a bit of a tribute to the good old days.
It's got good bass, a nice bassline and a lot of different rhythms.
A great dance track. This time a bit faster and harder. I came
across this nice bassline and decided to build a track around it.
Here's a new start of making music for G.U.N.I. I know I haven't done anything for nearly
one year, but I'm planning to get into the spirit again. On the Line is a House track,
which is gentle and melodic with a nice little bass line.
Loopa is a epic Melodic Trance track.
It's uplifting and just the right thing for the
upcoming open air Summer parties. I can't wait
to dance to it under a starry sky.
3 Satellites
is a funky Progressive Electronica track. An epic journey
through the
depths of my universe, but with an added layer of a
dance beat. I love epic dance music and I tried my best on this one.
Repeat the
Beat is a funky and melodic Hard House track. It's not as fast
as some Hard House tracks are, but I don't think
that is always necessary. I just wanted to make something uplifting
and melodic for the beginning of the year 2000.
Silent Bell is a short
but sweet piece, which tries to create a haunting and endles space. Together with
it's simple melody it's the ultimate minimal track.
Epic Thunder is a
quite dark and moody Ambient track. I had one sample of this track ready
for weeks, but I didn't have any use for it, but I liked it a lot,
so I kept it. Then I got quite ill. It
turned out that this was the right state of mind to be in to develop
this track.
Do you like fast, hard, heavy and
melodic Hard House. Then
this is one for you. A summer of festivals and
parties left it's mark and influenced me with this track.
Spangle Project is on of my
favourites. It's a warm Ambient track with a dreamy
melody and has got Asian influences. It was very hot here
while I was putting this track together and I tried
to express my emotions and memories of my holidays in
Asia. If you listen to it just sit back, listen and enjoy. Close your eyes and let the music
create pictures in your mind.
Here's a funky and melodic Deep House
track with a intense bassline and a nice melody. This track
was actually just an experiment, but it turned out to be quite nice and all
the people I've played it to, like it.
8 Years is nice simple
hard house track with a heavy beat and loads of breaks and
wiggles. It's called 8 years, because it stands for my
relationship with my partner for that same number
of years. It's anniversary time...hurray. This is like lots of stuff we've heard over the
years and danced together to.
First of all WW3 stands for WorldWar 3 and when I put it together
the situation in the Far East was close to escalate. It's
a mixture of Trance, Techno and House. Quite hypnotic and experimental.
Rogue is another
one of my favourites. It's a flowy, echoy and deep
minimal track. It's got a sad melody and could easily be a
soundtrack for some film. There is a quite positive review about Rogue
at
RAW42. The idea behind Rogue is the world's
future, the possible Armageddon, the new millenium, etc. I tried to
pick up on the strange atmosphere which surrounds us currently,
because of the expectations mankind have of the new millenium.
Knocken is uplifting, fast
and quite fun. Trance is the game with this one. I made this track just
for fun, so there is no real story behind it and I don't want to
make one up...:)
And another favourite of mine. Amino is
dark, but light and quite minimal. It's about the
constant renewal of things around us and the neverending repetition of
events over the years. These events might be different each time, but if
one strips them down to the basics, they are all just
the same.
In Autumn 2003 Amino was featured as one of the download tracks
on the Nokia micro site for their new mobile phone, the Nokia 3300.
Mosura represents different
depths in a different light. It's pure progressive Electronica.
It's got a nice melody and a simple ever changing
beat. Watching too many Japanese monster movies influenced me
with this little piece.
Sad is not sad at
all. It's actually quite light with a nice continual theme. I made this track
for a party of a friend of mine, but he doesn't like Techno that
much, so I had to make something lighter. He wanted a typical crowd pleaser.
A journey through the highs and lows of sound. There
are many echoes and interesting sounds in Seasell, but it's still
very minimal. It's mainly an experiment to explore all sorts of
different sounds and use them together. It's still got a nice
a review at
RAW42.
Busy Bees everywhere. The
Final is a Progressive Trance track. It's very fast and
consists of many different layers of beats and melodies. Long nights and days
out clubbing influenced me here.
Furiosity is uplifting,
fast and furious Techno. I was in a mad mood, so I sat down and put
this track together to relieve me of my aggressions. Lots of
layers again, with a nice melodic theme and many interesting breaks.
This is fast uplifting Hard
House music. After coming home from the "Summer Rites 1998" festival in London, I sat down to
put this little number together. Can you spot I wasn't really myself anymore
when I made Mountain Spring...:)
Apathy is very fast with a weird subsonic
character. Is it Intelligent Techno or Rave,
that's the question. I was a bit depressed at the
time while I was doing this song. I did it to cheer me up, but one
can't hide ones' feelings.
Moon Flower is nice and
mellow. Very Ambient, but not too slow. This is my
attempt to create a sound carpet. Here you'll hear some
nice floaty melodies and gorgeous drums.
This is melodic Rave or
even Progressive Trance. It's very fast with lots of
layers which have different speeds and textures. The
Dream came quite high in the Electronic Charts on MP3.com™ in Summer
1998.
Space Junction is a Minimal Atmospheric
soundcarpet. It's got a very trancey and hypnotic beat with
lots of weird and wonderful sounds thrown in for good measure.
Travelling on the train from Germany to England gave me the idea to
this song. It got to No. 4 in the
Minimal Charts on MP3.com™ in March 2000.
This is mad & very
melodic Progressive Electronica. Stormfire has lots of
nice sweeps with a quite heavy beat as contrast. You'll see
here that I was still experimenting with putting all the samples
together. Nevertheless I like it.
Science is
mellow-dancey-trancey Intelligent Techno. This is, I think,
the second song I've ever
finished, still quite experimental, but in the league of my later tracks.
It's got quite a few fans.
